The Eliminate Project: Kiwanis eliminating maternal and neonatal tetanus

He met many mothers and their babies who are now protected against the ravages of tetanus.

“It was such a great experience for me to see the power of Kiwanis International and UNICEF together,” Gasser said. “I saw how proud the mothers and their babies are to get the vaccinations.”


Madagascar is one of only two countries in the Eastern and Southern Region of Africa that is still at risk of maternal and neonatal tetanus.
